Master Zepeda started martial arts at the age of 5, learning Korean Tang Soo Do. He became a Junior Assistant Instructor at the age of 9 and at 12 he began training in traditional TaeKwonDo, competing in Olympic style sparring. In 2004 Zepeda received his Black Belt in American TaeKwonDo. He received his 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2006, 3rd degree in 2009, 4th degree in 2014, and Master Level (5th degree) in May 2019. He is the instructor at Dojo Karate’s Monticello location and coaches the sparring team, pushing them to participate in more competitions to further grow their skills. He is also co-owner of the Minnetonka location. Master Zepeda's passion also lies in watching his children grow up participating in martial arts, among other activities.
Ms. Yuker began her martial arts training when she was 35. On top of her regular Karate class, she also trains in sparring, kickboxing, grappling, and various martial arts weapons. Ms. Yuker has been with Dojo Karate since 2007 and became the head instructor at the Monticello location after receiving her Black Belt in 2008. She has since received her 2nd degree Black Belt in 2011, 3rd degree in 2015, and 4th degree in 2018. She teaches the Mighty Tigers/Dragons classes, all the junior and adult classes, sparring, weapons, grappling, and kickboxing. In her time with Dojo, Ms. Yuker has competed in many tournaments and earned many trophies, led Mega teams and a Black Belt team, and is also an instructor for Team Evolution. Her favorite part of teaching at Dojo Karate is watching students of all ages learn the curriculum, especially seeing their excitement as they continue to progress and improve.
Master Falenschek has been practicing various forms of martial arts since he was 13 years old, including Traditional Taekwondo, Judo, American Taekwondo and Karate. Master Falenschek, Master Hourscht and Master Stormoen have been working together since 2010 to develop the current Dojo Karate kickboxing curriculum. Master Falenschek has been an amateur kickboxer for multiple years and thoroughly enjoys the sport. He works closely with Dojo students that are inspired to become kickboxers. Master Falenschek also teaches classic and traditional Karate classes at many of the Dojo locations. He is very detail-oriented and gains a tremendous satisfaction watching children learn, progress and master new skills and techniques.
